The Pilot Project aims to raise the standard of television screenwriting in Canada.

 

Aspiring writers are invited to submit only completed television pilot scripts for consideration. Rules for submission can be found here.  The scripts will be marked on a ten-point rating system which can be found here. The script with the most points in it's category will be sent to our panel of experts for their feedback. The broad categories are Drama, Comedy and Animation. We may, from time to time, put through a wild card script because something about it was too irresistible.

Our ten-point rating system ensures that the scripts are judged on structure only and do not suffer from a screener's personal bias.  This is an academic exercise designed to take raw ideas and bring them up to saleable industry standards.
